On October 7, Ahi Sitbon lost one of his oldest and most beloved employees, and for a split second he almost lost his own life. But the wave of volunteers that flooded the family farm restored his faith in humanity. “These amazing Israelis actually planted the future of our country,” he says excitedly. “This is the first greenhouse on the farm that will bear the fruit of the post-war period.”

In the new episode of “Man/Land”, Hedai Offaim and Shlomi Shaban went down to the farm of the Sitbon family in Moshav Dekel, where Hedai prepared fish meatballs with sauce from freshly picked tomatoes, while Shlomi visited a greenhouse for the first time in his life – and also brought his grand piano there for an acoustic performance.
