How many farmers does it take to teach a Tel Aviv pianist pick bananas? It turns out you need just one. Miki Zaira, manager of Ein Gev’s legendary banana farm, took Shlomi Shaban and Hedai Offaim on a tour of the kibbutz’s beautiful plantation, looking back at the moment during the war when all foreign workers abandoned the farm leaving behind a thousand tons of ripe bananas that had to be picked overnight.
