Parashat Vezot Habracha – From God’s image to the Man of God

In this Parasha we read the last blessings given by Moses to the people of Israel and witness his death. Is there a connection between the description of Moses’ death and the book of Genesis? As one year ends and another begins, is the Torah trying to create a connection between all parts of the Pentateuch?
