Medicine, Magic and Culture

 In this session, we’ll explore how Solomon’s seals spread beyond the occult into popular literature, medicine, and science. Using case studies of doctors, iatrochemists, and inquisitorial records, we’ll examine the difference between protective charms and coercive seals. We’ll also see how pentacles became healing amulets and celestial symbols, and how a broader audience understood and used their power.
