Ani Ma’amin (“I Believe”)

Musician Maya Belsitzman performs Shaul Tchernichovsky’s iconic poem at Song of Hope Live, a special event at Beit Avi Chai which marked two years since October 7, held for Federation delegations from abroad. The arrangement is her own.

The melody is the well-known tune by Tuvia Shlonsky (father of the poet Avraham Shlonsky), though some researchers believe it draws from an existing Russian melody.
